Bridging Gaps: Swanand's Early Work in Seva Vastis
The Swanand Jankalyan Pratishthan began its work in 2010 by holding lecture series on social, cultural, environmental, and national topics, as well as organizing fun camps for children. With increased volunteer participation, operations in various Seva Vastis (Slum Areas) in and around the Sinhgad Road area began in June 2016. Swanand’s goal is to bridge the gap between communities. To begin, a detailed survey of the various Seva Vasti’s was conducted to identify local issues and routine challenges.
